ANY INFORMATION WE OBTAIN WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE. Notice of foreclosure by advertisement- A default has been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage made by Jason J. Keys and Kathi J. Keys, as husband and wife (hereafter collectively “Mortgagor”), to ELGA Credit Union, a Michigan financial institution and Mortgagee, dated January 21, 2021, and thereafter recorded on March 19, 2021, at Liber 1476 Page 605 of the Sanilac County Register of Deeds. There is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of Four Hundred and Four Thousand, Three Hundred and Ninety-Four and 00/100 ($404,394.00) Dollars excluding interest at the rate of 4.0% per annum. Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is given under section 3212 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.3212, that the aforementioned mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at a public auction sale to the highest bidder for cash or cashier's check at the place of holding the circuit court in Sanilac County, starting promptly at 10:00, on March 12, 2026. The amount due on the mortgage may be greater on the day of the sale. Placing the highest bid at the sale does not automatically entitle the purchaser to free and clear ownership of the property. Commonly known as: 6429 Locust Street, Marlette Michigan 48453. The redemption period shall be six (6) months from the date of sale unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCL § 600.3214(a), in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of sale.
